That’s why we offer a comprehensive health guarantee, including a replacement provision for specific genetic conditions such as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and other congenital defects. If any of these covered conditions are diagnosed within the specified timeframe, The Meoww Mission  will offer a comparable replacement kitten at no additional cost.

We also offer support for treatment of HCM diagnosed before your kitten’s third birthday. If medical intervention is required, Little Paws Feline  will contribute $100 toward treatment costs.

In rare and unfortunate cases where a life-threatening genetic condition leads to loss within the first year post-adoption, we will provide another kitten of similar breed and value at no charge. Additionally, if minor but treatable health issues are discovered within 42 hours of adoption during a vet check by a licensed veterinarian, we offer reimbursement for those treatable conditions.

Please note that preventive care (such as routine vaccinations, deworming, and follow-up lab testing) is not included in this limited guarantee. We highly recommend prompt vet visits after adoption to ensure your new kitten gets off to the healthiest start.

While we do everything possible to reduce the risk of hereditary or congenital conditions, some uncertainties are inevitable. Because of this, we recommend enrolling in pet insurance, like Trupanion, which helps cover hereditary issues and never imposes payout limits—ensuring your kitten gets the best possible care when it matters most.

Your kitten will have received all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming at the time of adoption. You’ll receive a vaccination record for your vet, and we encourage you to continue with the recommended schedule for lifelong protection.

🔄 Return Policy
In the unlikely event that a licensed veterinarian determines—within 3 years—that your kitten has a health condition linked to a pre-existing genetic issue (not caused by their new environment), Little Paws Feline  will accept the return of the kitten and offer either a replacement or a full refund, based on your preference.
